St Edward's A Level Results 2026

St Edwards A Level Results 2026

We are delighted to recognise the outstanding accomplishments of our Year 13 students as they receive an excellent set of A Level results, including a third of all grades at A* to B. Their success is the result of sustained hard work, resilience and ambition, as well as the strong academic support and enriching learning environment provided by St Edward’s Sixth Form. These results open doors to a wide range of exciting opportunities, empowering our students to pursue their aspirations with confidence and build bright, successful futures.

“Supporting and working alongside this exceptional group of young people has been a genuine privilege. Throughout their time with us, we have seen them develop not only as successful students, but also as confident, thoughtful and compassionate individuals. On behalf of everyone at St Edward’s School, I offer my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes as they embark on the next stage of their journey. We look forward to celebrating their future achievements and following their success with great pride.”

- Mr Chris Barnett, Headteacher, St Edward’s School

While we are proud of the work and development of all our students, we would like to highlight the exceptional achievements of the following individuals:

  • Liam Bertrand, who achieved an A* in Physics, and A grades in Further Maths and Maths. He will be studying Mechanical Engineering at University of Nottingham.

  • Eddie Hunter, who received A* grades in Further Maths and Maths, and an A in Business. He will be studying Maths at University of Exeter.

  • Holly Greetham, who gained A grades in French, Geography, and Psychology. She will be heading to New Zealand for a gap year.

  • Hannah Stamp, who received an A* in Psychology, an A in RE, and a B in French.

  • Richard Tsui, who achieved a Distinction* in Sport Studies, and A grades in Biology and Maths. He will be studying Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University.

  • Sophie Miller, who gained an A* in Psychology, an A in Maths and a B in French. She will be studying Law and Modern Languages at University of Bristol.

Student Liam Bertrand, who is headed to University of Nottingham to pursue a career in Engineering, had the following to say on his results:

“I’m feeling great, and so relieved. I’m glad that I finally get to be excited about university instead of worried about results day! All my A Level teachers have been so amazing and really went above and beyond. St Edward’s is a great school. They care about every student as individuals and celebrate everyone’s achievements. It’s not just academic success; they care about our growth as human beings.”

Our students received their results this morning and were able to celebrate their achievements with family, friends, and staff, discuss their futures, and mark this important milestone within our school community.
