At St Edward’s we recognise the critical importance of our 6^th form in preparing students to lead successful and happy lives. We have the highest expectations of all of our students, who leave us ready for some of the best universities in the world and degree and higher apprenticeships with leading employers both locally and nationally. At the heart of our 6^th form offer are expert teaching and the supportive relationships that make our school special.

We offer a wide range of A Level and Level 3 qualifications in 6^th form and supplement this with a varied programme of enrichment opportunities. Students are supported by an experienced and knowledgeable team of specialist tutors who provide expert guidance to support students in preparing for life after school, and have exclusive use of the fantastic facilities in our Sixth Form Centre to support and enhance their academic and social experience.

We believe that preparation for life is best facilitated in the midst of a caring and supportive community; one that attends to spiritual and moral formation, as well as academic excellence.

Our school is a very successful oversubscribed and distinctive joint Roman Catholic – Church of England Voluntary Aided School supported by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth and the Church of England Diocese of Salisbury. We are a truly comprehensive school, which educates over 1000 students from the age of 11 to 18.
