At St Edward’s, our Business course will equip you with the skills to understand business and economic developments globally.

Why Study A Level Business?

Business is studied at A Level. This course looks at a wide range of inter-related topical issues. The first year of Advanced level study focuses on the key functional areas of business such as marketing, human resources, production, and finance. The second year then uses this prior knowledge to develop strategic decisions and investigates business in an international context. It is a dynamic course where you have to keep a close eye on global political and economic events. Indeed, we have to consistently look through a different lens with topics due to the dynamic nature of global events.

Student Testimonials

"Business was such a popular A Level choice with huge classes, but Mr Kilpatrick took the time to get to know us all. I felt like he was so proud of me that I went into an apprenticeship, and the skills I learned in his class have been the most transferable to the real world."
